Early Voting

The State Board of Elections hasapproved the One-Stop Early Voting dates for the March 3, 2020 primaryand Board of Education election.

Dates and times for all locations are as follows:

Thursday, Feb. 13, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 14, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 17, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 18, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 19, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 20, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m

Friday, Feb. 21, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 24, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 25, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 27, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 28, 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 29, 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Early voting sites in Granville Countyinclude the Richard H. Thornton Library, 210 Main Street in Oxford; theSouth Branch Library, 1550 South Campus Drive in Creedmoor; and TarRiver Elementary School, 2642 Philo White Road in Franklinton.

At an early voting site, registeredvoters may update their address, but not their party affiliation, as thedeadline for changing party affiliation ended on Feb. 7.

Individuals who missed the voterregistration deadline (Feb. 7) may still register and vote at anyone-stop early voting site in Granville County during the early votingperiod, Feb. 13 through Feb. 29. To register, individuals must meetcertain qualifications and complete a North Carolina Voter RegistrationApplication.

Prospective voters must meet the following qualifications to register to vote:

Be a U.S. citizen;

Have been a resident of North Caorlina, the county, and precinct for 30 days before the lection;

Be at least 18 years old; 17-year-oldsmay register and vote in a primary elections if they will be 18 at thetime of the general elections; and

Not be serving a sentence for a felony conviction (including probation or parole).

Note: Voters are NOT required toshow a photo ID for the March 2020 primary election. In a December 31order, a federal district court blocked North Carolina’s voter IDrequirement from taking effect, The injuncion will remain in place untilfurther order of the court.
